MOSCOW, February 19. / TASS /. Most Russian women expect to spend up to 1,000 rubles on a gift for Defender of the Fatherland Day, while men are willing to spend from 1 to 3 thousand rubles on a gift on International Women's Day. Such data are given in a survey of the Otkrytie bank, which is at the disposal of TASS.
"Men plan to spend more on a gift than women: 43% of men are ready to fork out in honor of March 8 1-3 thousand rubles, while 49% of women plan to meet the budget of up to 1 thousand rubles on February 23. 57% of men and 53% of women want to spend on gender holidays as much as last year, 24% each - more and 11% - less than last year, "the bank notes. At the same time, 27% of men and 25% of women are ready to use a credit card or by installments.
The most memorable gifts for March 8, the survey participants named, in particular, the child's first postcard, an ironing board, nylon tights, salt and pepper mills. Men remembered a puppy, a box of beer, a puncher and covers for the car as a gift for February 23rd. "Contrary to the popular belief that women love gifts, only 44% of the fair sex are more likely to receive them than to give (54%). Men (52%), on the contrary, prefer to receive gifts more than to give (43%)", - added in the press service of the bank.
At the same time, money is the most desired gift for both men on February 23rd and for women on March 8th. Also, men prefer to receive perfumery products, a mobile phone or clothes and shoes as a gift. Girls, in addition to money, would like to receive flowers, perfumes and cosmetics, watches, jewelry and souvenirs on March 8. However, the desires of men and women do not very much coincide with the actual gifts they are willing to give each other. Thus, 69% of men are going to give women flowers, 34% - perfumes and cosmetics, and only 25% - money. At the same time, women prefer to give men on February 23 perfumery (46%), money or a certificate (40%), and clothes or shoes (35%), follows from the survey results.
