Andrei Myagkov was once one of the most popular actors in the Soviet Union. He lived with his wife Anastasia for over 50 years. Their marriage was exemplary for many, but the married Myagkov always enjoyed success with the female sex.
As friends said, the actor was always a closed person and did not like to let anyone into his personal life. In his youth, when he first became interested in theater and acting, he suddenly had an affair with his classmate Tamara Abrosimova. As Tamara herself later said, their relationship with the future star of Soviet cinema was based primarily on love for the theater.
Abrosimova recalled her youthful relationship with Myagkov with great warmth and for many years kept the teddy bear he gave her. However, the lovers could not get married.
“We felt good together both on stage and outside. And nevertheless, despite the fact that my parents liked Andrei, we did not dare to get married. It seemed that before the age of 25 it was too early to do this. But Myagkov conquered me without a trace: extraordinary, witty, wrote poetry, played the guitar, sang songs, Abrosimova told Express newspaper in 2013.
Having already entered the Moscow Art Theater School, Andrei Myagkov met his future wife Anastasia Voznesenskaya, with whom he almost immediately fell in love. She became for him the main woman in life.
“Andrey and Asya arranged a student wedding, which I was not at. Later we crossed paths on tour. But the tenderness that was between us in our student years has survived to this day, at least from my side, admitted Tamara Abrosimova.
Myagkov and his wife did everything together, including a career. They quickly became in demand in the theater, and then proposals for filming in films began to come. Success came to Anastasia faster than to her husband, but she did her best to help him too.
Actor Alexander Pyatkov, who knew the married couple closely, said in 2013 that Andrei Myagkov was very popular with women. Despite everything, he remained faithful to his wife.
“Many were secretly in love with him, wishing to have such a kind, intelligent, sensitive companion in life.
