“Dear men! For many years I have been talking about the fact that robots are stepping on your heels, and the struggle for equality in some places has already made an overly shameless glance at a woman suspect. The foundations of human society are under review today, and this cannot but cause concern. While the opposite side of the globe is going crazy for harassment, destroying careers and reputations, I hope that we will find our own special, more balanced path here too,”she wrote in her Telegram channel.

“As an independent woman, I will say: the less we depend on you, dear men, the stronger we become, but … The less mutual dependencies unites us: to eat, drink, love, cope with difficulties, raise children and grow old, the more uninteresting becomes our life. A strong woman does not want to live a boring life at all,”Kandelaki emphasized.

“We cannot imagine ourselves without you, and to hell with the tendencies proposed by someone about the absolute self-sufficiency of the human individual. We create our own world. Let's in the territory called Russia, men will remain men, and women - women,”the TV presenter urged.

“You are real defenders. The legends of Viking and Amazon women are great, but we know that if anything happens, you will be the one who will stand up for our freedom and safety. Protect the country, protect us and know: we love you and always look forward to your return from any campaign,”Kandelaki added.

The holiday on February 23 appeared in 1922 as the anniversary of the creation of the Red Army and until 1993 was called the Day of the Soviet Army and Navy.
