In the program "Hello, Andrey!" on the channel "Russia-1" the first wife of actor Eduard Izotov, Inga Budkevich, spoke about the fate of "Ivanushka" from the famous fairy tale "Morozko". The actress stunned the guests of the studio with a confession about the death of the ex-spouse.

At the time of filming the legendary tale, Inga and Eduard were married, their little daughter Veronica was growing up. "He was very good, sang beautifully, he had a real baritone, as they say now, there was sex in his voice," recalls Budkevich.

The actors met when they studied at VGIK. And already in the second year they got married. "Secretly, because his parents, or rather his mother, was against it," she explained.

However, after 24 years of marriage, the couple broke up. And three years later, in 1983, the actor was caught for illegal currency transactions. Izotov, along with his second wife Irina Ladyzhenskaya, was sent to prison.

"They took him because he went and changed a thousand dollars and some gold coins there. We were already divorced by that time. And he and his second wife wanted to build a dacha, so he went to change money. He was given three years and his whole life is over. Fool ", - complained the artist.

In the studio "Russia-1" Inga admitted that she felt guilty for what had happened and still has feelings for Eduard. “I love him very much. I am very guilty, of course, maybe if it had not dispersed, it wouldn’t have happened, and he would not have died,” Budkevich said.

After serving his sentence, Izotov returned to work, but suffered several strokes, and after some time began to lose his memory, forget the text, so he had to leave the theater. "He could not survive it. He was dying. He came out angry and one stroke, the second. The third," - said the actress sadly.

The disease progressed. In the last year, the actor could no longer move independently, spoke with difficulty, periodically did not recognize loved ones. The famous Ivanushka from "Morozko" finished his life in a closed psychoneurological boarding house. Eduard Izotov died in 2003. He is buried at the Khimki cemetery near Moscow.
