A friend of Boris Grachevsky, the creator of the Yeralash children's newsreel, told about his last days.
According to a friend of the artistic director, initially Grachevsky's condition was within the normal range, he was being treated for coronavirus at home, but on the New Year's Eve he got worse and had breathing problems. It was decided to hospitalize him.
Boris was taken to the 52nd hospital on Oktyabrskoye Pole, where he was diagnosed with 75% lung damage. Doctors immediately took the star patient under special control, sent him to intensive care, - KP.RU quotes him.
In recent days, doctors assessed Grachevsky's condition as "consistently difficult", but at first he was not connected to the ventilator. Gradually, his condition worsened even more, then the doctors decided to introduce him into a drug-induced coma, like Nadezhda Babkina, but this did not save him.
A friend of the creator of "Yeralash" noted that Nadezhda Babkina was a more serious patient, she had 80% of lung damage. He noted that Grachevsky's health was weakened. Three years ago, he overcame skin cancer, which at one time developed due to a mole on his leg. He had to go through several operations. Last year, the disease again made itself felt.
Few people know that last year the disease again made itself felt and Borya, thanks to the support of his young wife Katya, was able to defeat this infection. But the coronavirus, alas, did not work out. Doctors say that the extra weight killed Boris, he said.
According to doctors, it is more difficult for overweight people to fight the coronavirus.
Boris Grachevsky died at the age of 71 from the coronavirus. The artistic director of "Yeralash" was hospitalized on December 27.
Earlier NEWS.ru reported that Grachevsky left a good legacy to his loved ones. His last wife Ekaterina Belotserkovskaya and son Philip will probably get a house on Novorizhskoe highway with an area of 300 sq. m and 17 acres of land with a total cost of 50 million rubles.
