BBC and Hulu's drama "Normal People" caught the attention of pop singer Katy Perry, who tweeted the show's abundance of sex scenes.

The artist said that the creators should rename the series, giving it the title "We have a lot more sex than normal people."
As reported by The Sun newspaper, the series drew shock and criticism from viewers due to its many explicit sex scenes. Internet users, in particular, jokingly complained that "Normal People" cannot be watched with their parents.
The show's producers have previously complained about the Pornhub site for a 22-minute compilation of all of the series' erotic scenes. “This is not only a copyright infringement, but more importantly, a manifestation of extreme disrespect for the actors in the scenes and the crew,” the creators of the series told Variety magazine.
Earlier in May, The Independent criticized Normal People for misrepresenting BDSM sex scenes, pointing out that the show emphasized the deviance of violence in bed.
The premiere of "Normal People" in Russia took place on May 8.
