Vera Sotnikova is a femme fatale not only in cinema, but also in life. Her numerous novels were discussed by secular gossips and the yellow media, she drove many famous men crazy, who were ready for anything for her.
Meanwhile, Vera was officially married only once. And even then, Sotnikova suggests, perhaps Yuri Nikolsky, whom she met in her first year at the institute, would not have made an offer if not for her pregnancy.
Nikolsky did not want a child, because they were still too young and not financially secure. But Vera resolutely refused to have an abortion from her beloved man. They got married, but the marriage did not last long.
Vera took her son to her mother in Volgograd, and it was her mother who insisted that her daughter graduate from the institute.
"If not for her, I would have stayed in Volgograd after the birth of a child and, perhaps, would not even have become an actress," Sotnikova admits in the program "The Fate of a Man".
She visited her son every month, and parting with him were the most painful moments in her life. Especially those moments when the child ran after the train that was taking away his mother.
At 22, Sotnikova met businessman Ernst Pindur, who gave her the opportunity to "impeccable freedom." “I was just not afraid of anything and did everything I wanted in this life,” the actress recalls.
However, when the wedding was already on the doorstep, Vera fell in love with her partner in the play, Vlad Vetrova, and then Vladimir Kuzmin appeared in her life.
The actress recalls how she thought when she saw him in the video: "What a cool guy!"
At the time of his acquaintance with Sotnikova, Kuzmin no longer had a relationship with Alla Pugacheva, and he divorced his American wife.
Literally two days after they met, Kuzmin was already living in Sotnikova's apartment. “As soon as I met him, I realized that I was responsible for this genius,” Vera recalls. “I began to do everything in my power. I became his wife, sister, director of his videos, administrator, make-up artist, costume designer. Everyone."
But this relationship ended, and soon Vera met producer Renat Davletyarov.
Why did the romance between Sotnikova and Kuzmin end, how the failed husband Ernst Pindur took revenge on the actress, and how did the first husband win her? Vera Sotnikova answered these and other questions in the program "The fate of a man with Boris Korchevnikov" on the TV channel "Russia 1".
