An unusual insult to the Russian ear “cuckold” scattered across the RuNet after the wife of Garik Kharlamov, actress Christina Asmus, known from the TV series “Interns” on TNT, starred in a frank scene in the recently released thriller directed by Klim Shipenko “Text”. The negative reaction of the Internet community was caused by the bed scene, the frankness of which is "on the verge of a foul." Having condemned the popular comedian for allowing his wife to star in such a dubious movie episode, users of social networks assigned him a new offensive nickname instead of the former "bulldog".
What does it mean?
The word "cuckold" is a tracing of the English "cuckold", which translates as "cuckold". But this term does not just denote a cheated husband, but implies a cuckold who himself provokes his partner into adultery and does it for his own pleasure. The very English word cuckold, in turn, is derived from "cuckoo", "cuckoo" - a bird that likes to lay eggs in other people's nests. In other words, we are talking about one of the types of voyeurism - violation of sexual behavior, when the pleasure comes from spying on the intimate actions of other people. In some cases, such behavior of a married couple can really be triggered by banal satiety and a desire for thrills. Nevertheless, in sexology, this type of sexual behavior is considered paraphilia, that is, a deviation from the norm. In the case of sexual deviation, the urge to spy becomes an irresistible obsession. To make their fantasies come true and enjoy the spectacle of infidelity, "cuckolds" often look for lovers for their partners themselves. Experts consider the behavior of "cuckolds" to be something between fetishism and masochism. As a rule, the cause of such a sexual dysfunction is the once suffered psychological trauma or improper upbringing in the family, as a result of which a person begins to enjoy his own humiliation. According to the method of psychoanalysis of Sigmund Freud, the behavior of the "cuckolds" is based on the fear of real betrayal or the feeling of their own male failure, inability to compete with other representatives of the stronger sex for female attention and the right to procreation.
And what about the woman?
If the “cuckold” is lucky with a partner, and she herself is a “cuckoldress”, that is, a woman who also enjoys the act of betrayal in front of her husband, their specific “family happiness” can exist quite harmoniously. But not all "cuckolds" are so lucky, and then a woman becomes a victim of the pressure of her partner, who persistently pushes her to have sexual intercourse with another man, or even with several at once. Also, a woman herself can act as a "cuckquean", that is, enjoy the pleasure of contemplating the betrayal of her man with another partner. In the same cases, when a married couple is given to "cuckold" fun for the sake of boredom, such experiments often end in serious problems in the couple and the breakup of relations.
