MINSK, January 19. / TASS /. Relations between Belarus and Russia are developing fruitfully and constructively in various fields. This was stated on Tuesday by the Prime Minister of Belarus, Roman Golovchenko, at a meeting with the Russian Ambassador to Minsk Dmitry Mezentsev.

“The New Year has just begun. And last year, Belarusian-Russian relations developed constructively and fruitfully. For the first time in many years, we entered the new year with resolved issues in the fuel and energy sector, reached all agreements,” said the head of the Belarusian government, whose words leads on Tuesday his press service.

According to Golovchenko, members of the governments of Belarus and Russia "each time have something to talk about, have something to discuss." “Relations are developing, we need to move forward,” the Belarusian prime minister said.

"Life itself pushes us to the fact that we must combine our potentials - industrial, first of all, as well as scientific, intellectual. At the moment when the world, in my opinion, along the trajectory of division, is actually going to destroy integration, we need to move towards the merger of our potentials, "Golovchenko said.

The head of the Belarusian government added that the basic structure of the economy, which existed before, has been preserved in both countries. “Therefore, we will talk with our Russian colleagues about creating trade, trade and industrial chains, relevant businesses, we need to move away from the regulatory tilt towards creation,” the Prime Minister of Belarus said.
