On October 26, that is, literally yesterday, his lawyers came to Mikhail Efremov in the pre-trial detention center. The conversation was supposed to take place about Efremov's move from the pre-trial detention center to a general regime colony, where the actor was to be transferred within 10 days after the decision of the court of appeal. It was planned that Efremov would be transferred to a correctional facility in Chuvashia. His maternal great-great-grandfather named Ivan Yakovlev lived there many years ago. However, the dialogue dragged on a bit. As it turned out in the end, Efremov managed to agree to stay in the Vodnik pre-trial detention center, where he will serve his term. Journalists of the Komsomolskaya Pravda publishing house talked with the lawyers. When asked how this is possible, since a pre-trial detention center is not a colony, the lawyers answered very simply: - What, in your opinion, is this not a correctional institution? When asked whether the cassation court would be able to send Efremov to a colony forcibly, the lawyers answered very vaguely. - We'll see. This issue will still be resolved. It turns out that Efremov will stay in jail for another 7.5 years. Previously, the Presnensky court sent the actor to prison for 8 years, but later reduced it by six months due to the voluntary payment by Efremov to the family of the deceased compensation in the amount of 3 million rubles. By the way, a completely logical question was addressed from the journalists of Komsomolskaya Pravda to the lawyers - if they wanted to transfer Efremov to Chuvashia, why didn't this happen? - He really considered this option. But there were certain difficulties in it. The actor was worried that he would not be able to get to the colony by train, he wanted to fly by plane. However, the FSIN, of course, does not provide such services. About labor duties, the journalists of the publishing house also asked the lawyers: - Wasn't Efremov supposed to have labor duties from the moment the verdict entered into force? As far as we know, he did not do any work in the pre-trial detention center: he read books, watched TV. The lawyers explained: - Labor duties remain at the discretion of the prison management. And as far as I know, Mikhail Olegovich did something before. Perhaps cleaning. The situation with the arrest of Efremov remains unknown to this day. Not about work duties, nor about the place where the actor was serving time. In the "Vodnik" pre-trial detention center, Efremov can stay for the entire period on one condition: if he is assigned a place of work in the economic brigade, and not just forced to do the cleaning. Komsomolskaya Pravda writes the same thing. In principle, Efremov can stay at Vodnik even for the entire appointed period, but for this he must be assigned work in the economic brigade - then it will be equated to a general regime colony. When asked when everything would be decided, there was an extremely vague answer from the lawyers: - Mikhail Olegovich will remain here until the appeal. We are now filing a complaint and will wait for the case to be reviewed.
