A resident of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, who works as a doctor, turned to the police after he bought the so-called "Aladdin's lamp" for 90 thousand dollars in the hope that it really has magical properties.

After the purchase, it turned out that he was deceived, because she had no common features with the vessel from the famous fairy tale about Aladdin.

According to the applicant, one of the lamp sellers introduced himself as an occultist and even “summoned the genie from the lamp” in his presence. When the doctor asked permission to touch the lamp or genie, he was refused, stressing that it was dangerous. Later it turned out that the action was nothing more than a theatrical performance.

In the hope of getting health, wealth and good luck, the physician acquired the very same vessel, soon realizing that he had become a victim of scammers.

The police stressed that the attackers sold the same "magic lamp" to several more families. By now, the fraudsters have been detained. It is noted that another woman took part in the scam.
