The delegates have already gathered at the Palace of the Republic. There are about three thousand of them, including invited experts. A truly popular dialogue will take place today. Forum participants will voice ideas and proposals for the development of a specific field of activity or their region. The delegates are people of different professions and social groups. They came from all over Belarus. Everyone has the opportunity to be heard. Students, for example, want to develop a volunteer movement in the country.

“The volunteer movement can greatly help young people in their personal development and later life. I really like the phrase: the love that we give, we will receive even more. Because the more we give, the more we get,”said Yekaterina Debelaya, a student at the Belarusian State Pedagogical University.

Delegates will discuss political issues, the need for reforms, health care development, education. Special attention is given to helping large families and elderly people.

“I was touched by the expressed wishes regarding the care and social protection of veterans and pensioners. Remarks were made about the youth movement so that they keep in their hearts the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland, of those who achieved Victory,”said Anatoly Adonyev, chairman of the Minsk city organization of veterans.

Based on the results of the forum, they will decide how Belarus will develop in the next five years. The resolution, which will be adopted by the participants of the All-Belarusian Assembly, has a recommendatory character. Both parliamentarians and the government will rely on it.
