It turned out that during intimate exercises in the body of women, the length of telomeres increases. These are the ends of chromosomes in DNA that protect our bodies from disease and accelerated aging. The longer telomeres are, the longer a person's life expectancy is, and the longer his youth will last.
The observations of scientists have shown that the length of female telomeres increased as a result of regular sex, regardless of whether the fair sex themselves received sexual satisfaction in a relationship. According to researchers, sex can slow down the aging process in women by reducing stress levels and strengthening the immune system. Scientists at the University of California at San Francisco drew their conclusions when they analyzed the frequency of intimacy, the level of satisfaction in relationships and stress indicators in 129 women with long-term partners.
To achieve a positive effect in telomere lengthening, it was enough to have sex once a week. At the same time, satisfaction from relationships, stress indicators and support from partners did not have any effect on telomere length. The results of this amazing study have already been published in the journal Psychoneuroendocrinology.
