MOSCOW, Dec 23 - RIA Novosti. The ex-husband of Irina Shafirova, whose body was found the day before in Ruzheyny Lane in Moscow, told Moskovsky Komsomolets about the last days of the woman's life.

"We talked every day, we had wonderful friendships. The day before her death, we talked with her, we had plans to celebrate the New Year together, spend time with the children, she wanted to walk with her friends on Red Square. She bought a Christmas tree, even Nothing. did not bode well, "said the entrepreneur Boris Shafirov.

The businessman noted that he divorced the deceased two years ago. According to him, the woman suffered from loneliness and hoped to meet "the love of her life", despite his attempts to save the marriage.

Shafirov also commented on reports that his ex-wife was treated in a psychiatric clinic.

“She was diagnosed with a nervous breakdown. But she refused to undergo treatment,” he complained.

The man also called the rumors that Shafirova died due to the attack of the robbers "stupidity". In addition, he was surprised by media reports in which the deceased appeared as a "socialite".

“Nobody ever called Ira that, this fashion is so strange. They just started writing in the news that she was supposedly a socialite,” he said.

Shafirov stressed that he was upset by the death of his ex-wife, and expressed regret that their eldest daughter had to learn about the tragedy not from him personally, but from messages on the Web.
