Maxim Semyonov, 36, from Sayanogorsk (Khakassia) has not eaten or drunk anything for five days. The man also refuses to communicate with relatives. Maxim's wife asked for help. She told 19rus.info correspondents that her husband was protesting in this way. A blind man is not being treated for the coronavirus.

The story began in 2015. Olesya and Maxim then lived in the village of Dmitrievka. But the fire destroyed their home. As compensation, the family received only 10 thousand rubles. In order to somehow provide for himself, his wife and children, a resident of Khakassia went on watch. In Krasnoyarsk, he worked on a construction site, and also moonlighted in a bathhouse.

Over time, the man began to lose his sight. At first they did not believe him, but when it turned out that Maxim was not lying, they put him in the emergency hospital. He spent time there from August 2019 to March 2020. The man was discharged due to the fact that the hospital was converted for patients with COVID-19.

Since then, no one has been taking care of the patient. The spouse writes complaints to all instances. But he only gets replies. If Maxim is admitted to the hospital, he is discharged almost immediately.

“As if they were doing it for show,” explains Olesya, the wife of the blind man.

But most of all in the family they are puzzled by the fact that Maxim was not even diagnosed. Nobody knows what it needs to be treated for. Because of everything that happens, the man feels like a burden, so he went on a hunger strike.
