The man suggested to the dating app Tinder to oblige women to indicate their weight. In a post on Reddit, he noted that he is aware of cases when girls deceived companions, trying to hide their figure before meeting in person.
“I guarantee they won't do a damn thing about weight indication in women. I have friends who were deceived with weight ",
- he wrote.
According to the user, he has nothing against obese women.
“They just don't appeal to me. And it is absolutely normal if a woman is not attracted to me, because my height is 175 centimeters ",
Not all commentators supported this proposal. Many users felt that in dating apps, the best solution would be to indicate both height and weight, for both men and women.
“No discrimination for anyone. No complaints from anyone. And if someone lies, then this is definitely not the one with whom you should be together,"
- concluded one of them.
The man made such a proposal after Tinder announced a height verification system for men. The news came on the eve of April 1st, so many users were sure that this was a joke from the developers of the application. Tinder later confirmed that the announcement was indeed an April Fools' prank.
